A few months late, but RIP Judge Frank Caprio, star of the Caught in Providence YouTube channel, where he took a compassionate approach to people who appeared before h\m.

Thank you for the various updates zuckyd1. List updated. I went with the assumptions that the X-Men collection included New Mutants and the Anniliation Collection included Annihilus. If either are wrong, let me know and I'll change later today.

I'm not seeing a profile on the Master List just titled Annihilation. Should that be Annihilus?

The Sightings doc has Multiple Man listed as Madrox in X-Factor #200. Is that in error or did the name change in the reprint?

I've updated the list now. I made most of the changes on Monday but wanted to add in the History of the Marvel Universe #6 Appendix profiles and add a few notes on the French material. That's all been done now. Thank you to zuckyd1 and mal32 for their updatdes and corrections.

Almost for sure one of the old Cerebro Files listings. I thought I got rid of them all but that one apparently slipped by. So basically an online profile, long since taken down. We'll never include online profiles from the Marvel site again for that reason.

I think that we could note that the U89 profile is shared by the original Daniel Rand and the Daniel Rand H'ylthri constuct
Interesting idea. That one I think I'll revisit when and if the imposter gets his own profile.

I don't understand why "Iron Patriot", sorry
In Deluxe Edition #6, James Rhodes had a profile as Iron Man II, and the red and gold armour schematics appeared as a "sub-entry" there. Rhodes when last profiled went by Iron Patriot.

AVENGERS MANSION appears also inside Avengers Headquarters in Hard #1
This is one of those tricky ones because Avengers Mansion is of course heavily discussed in the headquarters profile but there isn't a distinct sub-section. I might revisit this in the future but for now I liken it Earth-616 and the various countries within 616 having separate profiles..

The Inhuman DOMINOR and the Spaceknight DOMINOR are two different beings
Thank you for proofreading these. You're making this list more accurate. This one led to another discovery, that Dominor (Inhuman) was misnamed Domnius in the Deluxe Edition. That's also how Thraxon's misspelling came about: In Original and Deluxe he had that erroneous T in the name.

This French translation series ran 6 issues and was published by Lug/Semic; it ended prematurely due to loss of license. It translated Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe profiles from the (O)riginal series, (D)eluxe Edition, and Update ‘(8)9. Where there’s English in the profile names, the series lists that first so the list below reflects that. If a name is listed by itself, it’s the same in both languages. Where the English isn’t given, it’s noted in {}.
It appears that in some cases the layout is for (O) but the text is for (D). Therefore some of the below may be revisited later as I take a closer look.
Not to be confused with the later series that translated the Marvel Encyclopedia series.

This section is for special reprint versions of Marvel Handbooks published subsequent to the original work. Usually this will be a version that was translated into another language. However, English language versions will be permitted if they were published later, especially oif the work was licensed out to another publisher.
What's not included in this section are Canadian and UK cover price variants and similar foreign variants that were published by Marvel at the same time as the US version. Those may be noted in the following thread but are not different enough to warrant a thread of their own:
In addition, indvidual foreign profiles where the book as a whole is not a Handbook can go in the above thread. Foreign variants of works not published by Marvel can be noted in the Non-Marvel and Unofficial Marvel threads, depending on whether they include Marvel characters etc or not.
If you have any questions on whether something belongs here or not, feel free to ask.

The purpose of this thread is to make questions like you would regular trivia, only it's things that you don't actually know the answer to but are hoping someone else does. The General Q&A thread can probably cover Marvel stuff even for movies and TV, but this is for everything else.
A question to start things off: I once saw a movie (on VHS I believe) set in a prison, where the prisoners were given the chance to do a variety show. It may or may not have been a dubbed movie. The part that stands out for me, and thus the reason I want to find the movie again is at one point one of the inmates sings, "Screw... screw you this screw... it's me and you." Does anyone know which movie this is?

1. In the 1980s run of Mighty Crusaders, someone on the team was spying on the team for the government. However the series got canceled before the spy could be revealed. Who was it?
2. There was an instance with nearly the exact same story happening with different characters. In one version Archie and friends did a birthday song for Mr. Lodge while another Beetle Bailey and friends did the same for Sarge. In both cases the recipient started sniffing and Archie/Beetle thought he was touched, but it was actually the case that the music gave him a nosebleed. I read them both in reprint form and it seems pretty clear that one is a swipe of the other. Which came first? Or was there an earlier third version? It would seem likely that the Archie story came first because of there are more stories about him being musically inclined, but comics can sometimes surprise.
