History: Markus Selin was a police officer in Helsinki, Finland, until he was wrongfully accused of a crime and kicked off the force. Seeking revenge against those who had wronged him and his wife Aino, who was killed by the Vala organization, Markus donned a suit of body armor and became the vigilante Rendel. He targeted the Vala organization and other criminals in Helsinki, using his skills and technology to take them down.

Rendel gained the attention of the Vala organization, led by Mr. K, who sought to eliminate him. Rendel also clashed with the Hellsinki Hounds MC, a biker gang that was involved in criminal activities. Alongside his allies Matti, Mari, Mäkinen, and Mikael, Rendel fought against his enemies and sought justice for his wife's death.
