He was a skilled chemist and engineer, often utilizing various deadly toxins, explosives, and gimmicks in his criminal activities. The Joker's unpredictability and chaotic nature made him one of Batman's most formidable adversaries.

History: On Earth-2, the Joker was one of Batman's earliest and most enduring foes. Little is known about his origins, as he preferred to keep his true identity shrouded in mystery. From his first appearance in Batman #1, the Joker established himself as the Clown Prince of Crime, Gotham City's most dangerous and unpredictable villain.

Throughout his criminal career, the Joker engaged in a wide array of nefarious schemes, often centered around elaborate crimes and deadly traps designed to test Batman's intellect and resolve. His criminal activities ranged from grand heists and bank robberies to acts of mass terror and violence.

On Earth-2, the Joker was particularly infamous for his penchant for lethal practical jokes and elaborate death traps. He had a morbid fascination with death and destruction, seeking to cause chaos and challenge Batman's principles at every turn.

In several encounters with Batman, the Joker caused significant harm and even tragic losses. One of his most infamous acts was the murder of Jason Todd, the second Robin, during the tragic storyline "A Death in the Family."

While the Joker's motivations were often difficult to comprehend, his obsession with challenging Batman and spreading terror throughout Gotham City was a constant theme in his criminal pursuits.

Personality: The Joker's personality on Earth-2 was characterized by chaos, insanity, and a sadistic sense of humor. He was a master of disguises and deception, using his unpredictability to taunt and torment Batman and the city of Gotham. The Joker's eerie laughter and maniacal grin became his trademark, striking fear into the hearts of his victims and adversaries alike.

Equipment: The Joker's arsenal of gadgets and weapons was vast and diverse. He often used deadly toxins, lethal joy buzzers, and explosive devices, all cleverly disguised as harmless trinkets or props. The Joker's iconic calling card was his "Joker Venom," a toxin that left his victims with a grotesque, laughing grin before their deaths.

Weaknesses: The Joker's greatest weakness was his own insanity and obsession with chaos. His lack of empathy or regard for human life made him susceptible to impulsive and reckless actions, often leading to his own downfall.

Summary: On Earth-2, the Joker was the epitome of a chaotic and sadistic criminal mastermind, continuously challenging Batman and terrorizing Gotham City. His legacy as the Clown Prince of Crime left an indelible mark on the Batman mythos, making him one of the Dark Knight's most enduring and iconic adversaries. The Joker's madness and obsession with chaos continue to be a defining aspect of his character across various iterations and adaptations, cementing his place as one of the most complex and dangerous villains in the DC Universe. Despite his demise, the Joker's legacy lives on, leaving behind a chilling and unforgettable impression on both Batman and the world of comic book storytelling.

Re: Joker (Earth-2)

He wasn't so much killed off as erased from existence, and with Hypertime is possibly still out there. It was the Post-Crisis Joker who was part of the Death in the Family event.
