History:
Goose was initially thought to be an ordinary domestic cat but was later revealed to be a Flerken, an alien species resembling Earth cats but with extraordinary abilities. Goose was the companion of Mar-Vell, the Kree scientist living on Earth under the alias Wendy Lawson. When Carol Danvers (later known as Captain Marvel) and Nick Fury encountered Goose while investigating Lawson's secret research, they quickly realized there was more to this "cat" than met the eye.Goose played a pivotal role in protecting the Tesseract, one of the Infinity Stones, from falling into the hands of the Kree. The Flerken's ability to store objects (and people) in pocket dimensions within its body proved crucial in keeping the Tesseract safe. Goose also played a part in the infamous incident that led to Nick Fury losing his eye, cementing his reputation within S.H.I.E.L.D.Goose remained a close ally to Carol Danvers and occasionally assists her on missions.
