History:
Kal-El was born on the doomed planet Krypton to Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van. As an infant, he was sent to Earth by his parents in a spacecraft to escape Krypton's destruction. The craft crash-landed in Smallville, Kansas, where Kal-El was discovered by Jonathan and Martha Kent, who adopted him and named him Clark Kent.Growing up in Smallville, Clark gradually discovered his superhuman abilities and was guided by his adoptive parents to use them responsibly.
