Re: General Comics Trivia

2 is correct
5 is incorrect
8-12 are correct
15 and 18 are incorrect
19-20, 22 are correct.

Mind you I'm not sure we ever saw Sister Voodoo's parents so she could have been created in an alien laboratory or something.

Re: General Comics Trivia

1 is incorrect but you're on the right track. The rest are correct. Ben was from a world where the 616 Thing had previously cured him. Come to think of it, he's someone who probably deserves a profile.

1 is correct and I should have actually said two characters. Who else first appeared in any incarnation in Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends #1?

Ms. Lion. I initially guessed Video-Man because I thought Firestar would be too obvious,

Re: General Comics Trivia

Oddly enough it was Ms. Lion that I was originally thinking of. I was a bit distracted/in a hurry to start on something else when I wrote the questions (which is why I went with a topic that I could do quickly) and she's since been so prominent that I guess she briefly became a blind spot for me.

That leaves:
13. In a Speedball story in Marvel Super-Heroes, two guys killed each other over which toy gun?
14. What is the first name of Forbush Man's aunt?
15. Who wrote Spider-Man's second team-up with Superman?
16. Who is the Larval Earth version of the Punisher?
17. Which member of the Redeemers had a flying carpet?

Looks like I was wrong. American Ace's second appearance was actually in Marvel Mystery Comics #2.

Re: General Comics Trivia

21: incorrect. Remember, it's for a network's line-up, not individual animation studio.

Re: General Comics Trivia

10 Marc Hazzard, Merc
15 Detective Comics#1
17 could also be Ka-Zar, who had appeared previously in the pulp novel Ka-Zar, King of Fang and Claw
22 In the TV show she's forced to give oral sex to the Deep, in the comic every single male member of the team is involved in the assault.

6/02/2021 7:37 am  #683

Re: General Comics Trivia

Those are correct. I did overlook non-comics but Ka-Zar probably wouldn't work because I was looking for titles that had a #1, so unless the novel had a 1 on it (which is possible if it was part of a series) it would be beyond the theme. I much prefer the TV version of the Boys scene. It felt more like a character moment and not just a humorous shock sequence.
