Hey, Handbook fans! I hope folks don't mind me posting a new Imaginary Handbook even as we finally have a brand new Handbook to obsess over. I've been working on this awhile and had hoped to post this before the Avengers Now! Handbook was released. This started as an attempt to come up with a Ka-Zar Handbook, but I kept expanding the scope until I settled upon the theme "Marvel Jungles." There's a history of jungle-themed comics characters both in general and in Marvel's specific history going all the way back to the David Rand version of Ka-Zar, and while we've seen quite a few of those characters get coverage, not all of them have. I fully expect that there are characters and concepts beyond what I found in my research, so if you have suggestions please add them.

Three notes: 1. I did focus a lot on Ka-Zar and the Savage Land but worked to not limit things to just that. 2. Since I already did a Black Panther Imaginary Handbook, I chose to leave Panther-related entries out. 3. Some of these characters date back to Marvel's predecessor, Atlas Comics.

Tarzan might be, but ironically the Marvel comics he appears in would still be copyrighted to ERB's estate.
