Michael became a freelance journalist in London, where he eventually discovered his true identity as Miracleman. He teamed up with his former sidekick Kid Miracleman and other superhumans to defend the Earth from alien invaders and other threats. After defeating the alien invasion, Miracleman and his wife Liz retired from superheroics and disappeared from public life.
