Team Name: Misfits of Science

Membership: Dr. Billy Hayes (leader), Gloria Dinallo, Johnny Bukowski, Elvin "Wizard" Lincoln, Jane Miller

Purpose: To use their unique abilities to fight against criminal activity and protect the public.

First Appearance: Misfits of Science #1 (October 1985)

History: The Misfits of Science were a team of individuals with unique abilities brought together by Dr. Billy Hayes, a former government scientist. Each member of the team had developed their powers through various means, including accidents and experiments.

Dr. Billy Hayes possessed the ability to emit powerful bursts of energy from his hands, and served as the team's leader. Gloria Dinallo had the power to become invisible at will, while Johnny Bukowski could emit powerful sonic blasts from his vocal cords. Elvin "Wizard" Lincoln possessed telekinetic abilities, and Jane Miller had the ability to control and generate electricity.

Together, the Misfits of Science battled against various foes, including a group of former government agents who had turned to a life of crime, and a villainous organization called the Humanidyne Corporation.

Despite their successes, the Misfits of Science were short-lived and disbanded after only one season due to low ratings.

Abilities:

Dr. Billy Hayes: Ability to emit powerful bursts of energy from his hands.
Gloria Dinallo: Ability to become invisible at will.
Johnny Bukowski: Ability to emit powerful sonic blasts from his vocal cords.
Elvin "Wizard" Lincoln: Telekinetic abilities.
Jane Miller: Ability to control and generate electricity.

Equipment: None

Base of Operations: The Misfits of Science operated out of a laboratory located in Los Angeles, California.

Weaknesses: The Misfits of Science were not invincible and could be defeated by physical attacks. Additionally, their powers were not always reliable and could malfunction or backfire.

The powers bits are completely wrong and I strongly doubt that low ratings caused them to disband in-story. Some broader aspects accurate at least.
