History: Chiun is the master of Sinanju, an ancient martial art and philosophy that has been passed down through his family for generations. He was chosen to be the reigning Master of Sinanju at a young age, and has dedicated his life to mastering the art and philosophy of his ancestors.

Chiun has worked as a mercenary, using his skills to aid various clients in achieving their goals. He has also been a member of the Council of Elders of Sinanju, a group of leaders who oversee the training and practice of Sinanju.

Chiun was once hired by the criminal organization known as the Hand to assassinate Daredevil, but he ultimately chose to ally himself with the hero. He has also worked with Spider-Man, Captain America, and other heroes, although his loyalty is always to Sinanju first and foremost.
