History: Gus Fring is a Chilean-born businessman and drug lord who operates out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is known for his polite demeanor and meticulous attention to detail, as well as his ruthless approach to business.

Fring first entered the drug trade in the 1980s, working as a chemist for the Cartel in Mexico. After his partner, Max Arciniega, was murdered by the Cartel, Fring fled to the United States and started his own drug empire, using his legitimate business, Los Pollos Hermanos, as a front.

Fring's operations in Albuquerque caught the attention of local high school chemistry teacher, Walter White, who began working for Fring as a meth cook. Fring quickly recognized White's skills and recruited him to work exclusively for his organization.

However, Fring's success drew the attention of the Cartel, who demanded that he start distributing their product in addition to his own. Fring refused and a bloody war broke out, culminating in Fring's death at the hands of White.

Powers and Abilities: Fring is a skilled businessman and strategist, able to maintain a complex criminal empire while appearing legitimate to the outside world. He is also a skilled chemist, having been responsible for the creation of a high-quality methamphetamine that was in high demand.
