OK, that's Moon Knight, Loki, Silver Surfer, Namor, Spider-Woman, Abomination, Col. Abdul al-Rahman, Bishop, Iron Fist, Scorpion, zombie Invisible Woman and Cable. I look forward to this.
I haven't read Ultimates 2 yet, can anyone tell me what the "W" on al-Rahman's chest stands for?
I'm usually indifferent to Greg Land's work, but that's a really nice cover.

Hard to say if I'll pick this up. I dislike the Ultimate universe, with perhaps the exception being Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch, whose very close relationship is gold for parody. I did skip out on the previous Ultimate handbooks, but on the off chance that I dig them up before this one comes out, which issues of the 2004-2005 theme books did they come out between? I ask, because I don't believe those books had the months inscribed inside.

Like I said in the general Handbook thread, I'm not a huge fan of the Ultimate Marvel books but I am a huge Handbook fan so I'll check this out. Who knows? maybe this will help get me into the Ultimate line.

The Fantastic Four/Spider-man came out in August, after the second Avengers book, and the Ultimates/X-men came out in December, after the second X-men one. I have them because I'm a completist, not because I care about the Ultimate universe (as some of you may have figured out).

I've ordered it from a comic store through the mail, but I'm just too impatient!
Can someone tell me who's in it?
Thanks in advance,

Any chance we can see a trade paperback of the three Ultimate Handbooks, sort of like what was done with the 1960s-1990s handbooks?

No plans at present, but never say never. Write to Marvel and suggest it!

Will there an online bibliography for this handbook, because I haven't seen any on marvel.com yet?

Well, my compliments to the writers for this handbook. I got this one out of being a completist, and you kept my attention for a universe I don't normally read. Particularly good entries on Spider-Woman, Loki, the Liberators, Thor, Doom, and Cable.

Damn it! This Handbook made me do something I never would have thought possible, namely take an interest in the Ultimate Marvel universe. I did enjoy the book, although the premise of the Liberators left a bad taste in my month.

Why is that? They are a gerenal run-of-the-mills anti-American group.

Well, I guess it's because of the whole 24-ese, "any county that disagrees with us is the enemy" under tone to it. And then there's the fact that it's highly unrealistic that some of the countries would participate in something like that. For example, does anyone honestly believe that China would attack, directly or otherwise, it's largest trading partner?
