History: Kal-L was born on the doomed planet Krypton and sent to Earth in a rocket ship by his parents just before their world's destruction. He was discovered and adopted by Jonathan and Martha Kent, who raised him as their own son and gave him the name Clark Kent.
As he grew older, Clark discovered that he possessed incredible powers thanks to his Kryptonian biology and Earth's yellow sun. Donning the iconic costume of Superman, he used his abilities to protect the people of Metropolis and the world from threats both earthly and extraterrestrial.
As a founding member of the Justice Society of America, Superman fought alongside other superheroes during World War II and continued to serve as a mentor and leader to younger generations of heroes, including his own son.
Powers and Abilities: Superman possesses incredible superhuman strength, speed, durability, flight, and heat vision. He is also invulnerable to most forms of harm and has the ability to freeze objects with his breath. Additionally, he has heightened senses and the ability to see through most materials.
Weaknesses: Superman is vulnerable to kryptonite, a radioactive mineral from his home planet. He is also susceptible to magic and psionics.
Note: This version of Superman existed in the continuity of DC Comics prior to the 1985 Crisis on Infinite Earths event, which merged multiple alternate universes into a single timeline.
