History: Marie Saito grew up in New York City and had a troubled childhood. Her mother died when she was young, and her father was abusive. As a teenager, Marie dropped out of high school and fell in with a gang called the Purple Dragons. She quickly rose through the ranks and became a key member of the organization, using her skills as a thief and fighter to carry out various criminal activities.

During one of her jobs, Marie crossed paths with the Foot Clan, a powerful criminal organization that controlled much of the city's criminal underworld. Impressed with her skills, the Foot offered Marie a position within their ranks, and she accepted. She quickly became a trusted ally of the Foot's leader, the Shredder, and was often sent on missions to carry out the organization's dirty work.

Despite her loyalty to the Foot, Marie had a fierce independent streak and often clashed with other members of the organization. She eventually left the Foot and became a freelance criminal, using her skills to carry out various jobs for anyone who would pay her.

Sweet Cheeks Marie has crossed paths with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on several occasions, often working against them but occasionally teaming up with them when their interests aligned.
