Powers/Abilities: Jigsaw is a highly intelligent and skilled engineer and inventor, capable of creating elaborate traps and puzzles designed to test the moral character of his victims. He is a skilled manipulator, able to use psychological tactics to convince his victims to participate in his "games" voluntarily. He is also a skilled fighter, able to hold his own in hand-to-hand combat.

History: John Kramer was a successful engineer and businessman who became disillusioned with society after being diagnosed with cancer. He survived a suicide attempt and began to view himself as a vessel for teaching people the value of life. He began to target individuals he saw as having wasted their lives or taken life for granted, putting them through his "games" in order to teach them the value of survival.

He was eventually caught and killed, but his legacy lived on through his protégés Amanda Young and Mark Hoffman, who continued to carry out his twisted philosophy.
