History:
Dudley H. Dudley was an aging actor and con artist who claimed to be the long-lost brother of Billy Batson's father. After discovering that Billy was secretly Captain Marvel, Dudley became enamored with the idea of becoming a superhero himself. However, lacking any superhuman abilities, he instead created the persona of "Uncle Marvel" and began assisting the Marvel Family in their heroic exploits.
Despite his lack of powers, Uncle Marvel was a valuable member of the Marvel Family, providing them with information, transportation, and occasional comic relief. He was also a mentor to Freddy Freeman, the Marvel Family's alter ego Captain Marvel, Jr.
In his later years, Dudley H. Dudley retired from his superhero career and passed the mantle of Uncle Marvel to his grand-nephews and grand-nieces, who continue to assist the Marvel Family to this day.
