I'm tentatively posting this here. We usually put RPG books in Non-Marvel Handbooks, but since this one is actually published by Marvel I figured it might qualify for this thread (or possibly even the actual handbook thread since the format is fairly similar).

Another doubt about:
X-Men: The Movie Special Edition (2000) Cyclops, Storm, Jean Grey, Rogue, Wolverine, Professor X (all entries movie versions)
May I ask if this is the Toys R Us Special one? This one?
I ask it because Lonewolf36 kindly helped me with the profiles but I see that there are not only - Cyclops, Storm, Jean Grey, Rogue, Wolverine, Professor X - but also the following other profiles:
BELDAME, WANDERER, THE GOTH, SANGUINE, WOLVERINE by ENRIQUIE BRECIA, BELASCO by PABLO RAIMONDI, MAGIK by PABLO RAIMONDI, ROGUE by TOM RANEY
So I ask you all, are they the same X-MEN THE MOVIE book or are they two different ones, please? Thank you
Yes, those are the listings for the Toys R Us comic. The indicia is X-MEN MOVIE SPECIAL EDITION (May, June, July 2000). There are two sections of pin-ups:
Sketchbook:
(These are promoting upcoming comics. Except for Wolverine, they are all the 616 versions.)
Wolverine (from "an upcoming Wolverine project set in the far-flung future") 1
The Goth 1/2
Sanguine 1/2
Rogue 1
Beldame 1/2
Wanderer 1/2
Belasco 1/2
Magik (Sefton) 1/2
Magneto's X-Men X-Ray:
(2 pages total. These are the movie (Reality-10005) versions.)
Cyclops
Storm
Jean Grey
Rogue
Wolverine
Professor X
There is also a Wizards of the Coast comic promoting their X-Men Trading Card Game, with the indicia X-MEN THE MOVIE SPECIAL EDITION (2000).
The card game is based on the first movie, and the comic includes "movie-style" design sketches for characters who weren't in the movie, including a 1/4 page Sentinel schematic. Not sure if this would be considered Reality-10005.

Is this the same as DC Versus Marvel / Marvel Versus DC Consumer Preview (1995) [DC Versus Marvel #1 (1996) profiles? If so, they look pretty formal, more so than the intent of this thread. Probably suitable for Sightings if there is a Marvel published version of these, otherwise Non-Marvel if these were only published in a DC comic.
Yes, it is the same. I'm only aware of it being printed in the two issues you mentioned.

I can't seem to find my copy of the digest right now, but since I posted the information right after I bought it I'm pretty sure the indicia I posted is the correct one. As far as I know the profiles did not appear in the floppies (or I would have bought those instead )

Not really. The profiles are part of an essay by Roger Stern entitled "To Infinity & Beyond!"
The last sentence of the essay before the profiles begin is "For now, let's take a look at the members of the Avengers' Team Infinity".

I've now updated the Poster List. I've taken out the DC vs Marvel material (formally written but published by DC so a better fit for the Non-Marvel Thread. I've added a section called Rejected Material for posters that aren't really profiles. Okay to suggest material that's already on the list for that section (I plan to go through the Lee Kirby material in particular if no one suggests any of those in the meantime) and it's also okay to suggest material that was in the list before but got taken out but please don't suggest posters that were never on the list to begin with. If we list every poster/pin-up Marvel has even made in a comic the document will quickly get bloated with relatively uninteresting info.
In terms of the Marvel RPG material, what I should probably do is expand the Marvel RPG thread beyond the original game. If I do that, then the newer game material would probably be a good fit for that.
I've added material related to 1990s Guardians of the Galaxy. I decided that one Marvel Age article was basically an informal version of an Events write-up.
