Kal-El was born on the doomed planet Krypton to Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van. As an infant, he was sent to Earth by his parents in a spacecraft to escape Krypton's destruction. The craft crash-landed in Smallville, Kansas, where Kal-El was discovered by Jonathan and Martha Kent, who adopted him and named him Clark Kent.Growing up in Smallville, Clark gradually discovered his superhuman abilities and was guided by his adoptive parents to use them responsibly. As an adult, he moved to Metropolis, where he became a reporter for the Daily Planet and adopted the superhero identity of Superman. Clark's dual life as a mild-mannered reporter and the Earth's greatest protector became increasingly complex as he navigated his responsibilities to both his city and his family. In the Arrowverse, Superman is an established hero who has saved the world numerous times. He has a close relationship with his cousin, Kara Zor-El (Supergirl), and often teams up with other heroes within the Arrowverse, including Green Arrow, The Flash, and Batwoman, during major crossover events. His relationship with Lois Lane remains a central part of his life, and together they have twin sons, Jonathan and Jordan.Superman is a symbol of hope and justice in the Arrowverse, consistently fighting to protect the innocent and uphold his moral code. Despite his immense power, he faces challenges that test his humanity, especially when dealing with the responsibilities of being both a father and the world’s greatest superhero.
Height: 6'3"

  • Super Strength: Superman possesses immense physical strength, allowing him to lift heavy objects, overpower foes, and withstand significant damage.
  • Flight: He can fly at incredible speeds, both within Earth's atmosphere and in outer space.
  • Invulnerability: Superman's body is nearly indestructible, capable of withstanding bullets, explosions, extreme heat, and other forms of harm.
  • Super Speed: He can move, react, and fly at speeds faster than the speed of sound, making him one of the fastest beings on Earth.

Superman in the Arrowverse is portrayed as a heroic figure who embodies the ideals of hope, justice, and compassion. Despite his incredible powers, he remains deeply connected to his humanity, driven by his love for his family and his desire to protect the world from evil. His presence in the Arrowverse serves as an anchor for the other heroes, and his legacy as the Man of Steel continues to inspire those around him.

Re: Superman (Arrowverse)

Immediately prior to the Crisis, Lois gave birth to one son, Jonathan. Immediately Post-Crisis, two sons were mentioned but not named. Had Superman and Lois been Arrowverse canon as originally intended, then the sons would have been confirmed as Jonathan and Jordan, but as it stands they're unnamed.
