I'm not sure what this is about. Is it an Atlas with maps, an encyclopedia with histories or a combination of both.

Both.

The Marvel Atlas said:

"The mutant Sage (Tessa) served in the Mujahedeen until an encounter with Charles Xavier led to her becoming one of his X-Men."

There is not one correct fact in this statement.

First of all, Sage didn't serve in the Mujahedeen, it was made clear in X-Treme X-Men #44 –-

"WINTER hadn't arrived yet, but it was CLOSE.

Last chance for RAIDS -- by insurgents, by bandits -- before SNOW shut down the highlands 'til spring.

Last chance for the government of KABUL to catch them in the OPEN.

Nothing to do with ME."

Second, Sage was never one of Xavier's X-Men -- she was one of Storm's X-Men. [X-Men v2 #109, X-Treme X-Men.]
After Tessa saved Xavier in Afghanistan she didn't go with him to America, they were separated, and years later she arrived to his school where he trained her to be a spy, not an X-Men. She was never one of his X-Men.

Will this be fixed in later editions?

Btw, her creator, Chris Claremont, said numerous times that Sage is in fact Greek, but he hasn't put that in an issue, yet.

Is anyone looking into correcting the above mentioned error?

It has been brought to the attention of the profile's writer, and we are reviewing it.

How's that review coming along?

The profile's writer hasn't come on here to mention it, but it hasn't been overlooked. The text has been modified for the Atlas TPB, and no longer states Sage was with the Mujahedeen. As for the rest of the sentence, while it doesn't elaborate on the point (there's limited space and the entry is for the country, not Sage), it's not inaccurate. The encounter with Xavier led, albeit indirectly and not immediately, to her working for him and eventually becoming an X-Man.
