Ken is originally from the anime series Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. When it was adapted into English as Battle of the Planets, his name was changed to Mark.

2) Mark and Lion-O appeared in Battle of the Planets/Thundercats #1.

Yep. Once you identify Emi, you find Infini-T Force, which immediately crosses over several Anime, and gives you Gatchaman, one of the relatively few Anime to have crossover into Western comics.

7) John Munch is an acquaintance of Luther, as revealed in the fifth episode of Luther.

The Munch mention in Luther is probably unauthorized (although Munch did make an authorized appearance in Luther star Idris Elba’s previous series The Wire). The only other Luther connections that I could turn up was a BBC advertisement teaming him with Sherlock’s Sherlock Holmes and The Fall’s Stella Gibson and a mashup video posted by the BBC that depicts Luther’s Alice Morgan and Killing Eve’s Villanelle having a conversation.

I suspected people might go through Luther's mention of Munch, and that's perfectly acceptable, albeit almost certainly unauthorized like you said. That said, there is an authorized route in, and you came pretty close to locating it with those adverts. Using Sherlock is awkward, since the character is public domain and we therefore normally would have to find another link to the BBC's Sherlock, not just any version of Sherlock Holmes; the Alice/Villanelle one is problematic since it's using clips from the shows and not new footage (afaik). However, there's another ad, which links Luther, Sherlock, Eastenders, chat show host Graham Norton, TV talent shows The Voice, Strictly Come Dancing (think Dancing With the Stars) and The Great British Bake-Off (!!), and...Doctor Who. And once you add the Doctor to the mix, you have your links to the Omniverse.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnoxGr_sTz4
It's a bizarre mixture of characters and unusual link, but it's definitely authorized.

2) Dan entered into a biggest chin in comics competition in the Comic Relief Comic.

but though this provides a route to get to 2000AD (and thus IPC/Rebellion characters across the board), Marvel AND DC, we're using this to get to another universe, because another group appear in CRC - the TMNT!

3) From the TMNT, we get to Savage Dragon

Yep. That works; congrats!

Giles' Gran has actually got three routes out into the multiverse that I know of, one of which you've found.

Another is in LoEG: Black Dossier.

Both of these are mentioned on the wiki page on the character (once you figure out who Gran is of course - if you aren't British, you'll likely not recognise her, and her name's so generic that it's of little use on Google). The last one isn't listed there - she's in the crowd at the start of Excalibur I#14.

Btw, you can cut out one link - Superman can be connected direct to Dredd via the Comic Relief Comic again.

Excellent. I deliberately picked some characters who might be tricky to place; if you didn't already know of them, tracking them down is tricky since they're not listed on Comicvine or comics.org afaik, and have generic enough names that a Google search isn't much help. It is possible to cut one step; you can go straight from Invincible to Cassie Hack via FCBD 2017: I Hate Image, and Cassie then replaces Halloween Man in the final step.

A little help then.

Obelix meets Thorgal in Asterix et ses Amis - drawn by Thorgal's creator in an official Asterix volume, so authorized on both sides.

Edit: Adding an additional link to a blog that covers Asterix et ses Amis very nicely, which might help with further linkage.

Yep, that works. A slightly different route from the one I found, though interestingly it utilizes a couple of the same links in the middle.

I think we have three (?) access points to link Western fiction to Manga/Anime. The Shogun Warriors' robots, Godzilla and Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets. From what I can figure out, hampered somewhat by not being able to speak or read Japanese, within Manga/Anime there are various crossovers, but far fewer than in Western fiction; the place to forge a good number of links isn't either of those formats, but in computer games, where companies seem far readier to authorize having their characters meet up with those from other companies.

Fwiw, my route was:
Conan to Thor via What If? #39
Thor to Godzilla via Godzilla #23
Godzilla to Mazinger Z via Super Robot Wars X-Ω video game
Mazinger to Devilman/Akira Fudo using the same link you proposed.
And then using Sunday VS Magazine: Shūketsu! Chōjō Daikessen video game as you did, but to link Devilman to Inuyusha instead of Kaiba.
Then finally Inuyusha to Detective Conan via Shonen Sunday Commercials - much like some Cartoon Network commercials, some of these have depicted the characters hanging around in the vicinity of one another.

Got to admit though that your final step works better, being a proper in-universe crossover, albeit via a dream.

9) Thorgal and Argun Treefoot appeared in The Archers.

Interesting. I think it's fair to say that the second link is a touch tenuous, but still an excellent find! Link 8 needs to be links 8 and 9, since the ducks and Thorgal appear in different stories, but still a valid connector. Good going, and some excellently obscure connectors!

I went a slightly different route, and used a few previously mentioned connectors.
1) Tasslehoff to Raistlin via multiple Dragonlance novels and/or comics.
2) Raistlin to Nodwick - he once refereed a magical match between Raistlin and Elminster, top mage of the Forgotten Realms. Gary Gygax was one of the commentators. Published by TSR in Dragon Magazine, so all links count as authorized.

3) Nodwick takes us to Phil Foglio. Mentioned before, Nodwick encountered Phil during a multiversal jaunt in Nodwick #10, an authorized cameo drawn by Phil Foglio himself. However, that's not their only crossover - here's Phil reclaiming his stolen bowler hat in another Nodwick installment.

4) Phil takes us to Munden's Bar and Gordon Munden, another link previously mentioned.
5) And Munden takes us to the TMNT, also mentioned earlier in the thread.
6) Cartoon All-Stars links Michaelangelo and the Duck triplets, as you mentioned.
7) The Ducks met Obelix and Asterix in Asterix et ses Amis...
8) which is also where Obelix met Thorgal.
9) And finally Thorgal to Argun.

Mind you, if we want to avoid the possibly unauthorized appearance of the Ducks in Asterix et ses Amis, the route can still be made, albeit with a few additional steps:
7) Huey, Dewey and Louie encountered Darkwing Duck in Dangerous Currency.
8) Darkwing and Marsupilami shared a restaurant table in Bonkers episode 3.10 "The Tenth Page"

9) Marsupilami has made a few cameos in Asterix, such as in Asterix and the Big Fight
but they actually encountered one another properly in Asterix et ses Amis, and this is an authorized crossover.

10) Then Obelix to Thorgal in another story in the same volume.
11) And finally Thorgal to Argun.

Yeah I'm not too familiar with the various D&D worlds, so I scrounged together what I could. Tymora’s Luck IS a legitimate crossover between Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms, but it might have required an additional step, probably involving Emilo Haversack, to make it fully kosher.

You can link pretty much all the D&D worlds - they are all part of a single multiverse, per this interview with writer Jeff Grubb, who authored Tymora's Luck. So I agree that the book is a legit crossover, and an impressive find given it's not your area of expertise. The only reason I felt the link was a tad tenuous was because Raistlin himself wasn't present in the book, just his quote. Even so, good work!
