Totally unrelated to Andy's questions, just something that came up when I was explaining some comics stuff to a friend who hasn't read comics since he was a kid.

Kind of a six degrees of Kevin Bacon thing - connect Spider-Man to the Patriot (Jeff Mace) ... by family tree. The two are (kind of) related. Can anyone explain the connection?

Sidney was close with 10. The series title was Showcase Presents. That one I would have allowed. The second part was Superman Family. That one I couldn't allow because Showcase Presents: Superman covered Superman himself.

Yep. Or to abbreviate it, Patriot is Thunderbolt Ross' uncle via marriage, Ross is Hulk's father-in-law, Hulk is She-Hulk's cousin, J. Jonah was She-Hulk's father-in-law, J. Jonah is Aunt May's step-son (!!!) and so Peter Parker's cousin. But I do like how you laid it out step by step and then summarised their direct (?) relationship.
