Doing a preemptive strike: a number of US Presidents on both sides of the political spectrum are in advanced age and have the potential of passing this year. It's okay to note them here but don't dance on their graves on this particular forum, though of course it's up to you if you do so elsewhere. I don't think anyone on this forum would do so here, so I'm not addressing any one person, just playing it safe given how divisive American politics has gotten. We have to recognize that there's a good chance there are people on this forum who voted for each of the most recent US Presidents. What I will allow is people to say that x "has passed" or something fairly neutral alone those lines instead of RIP if you can't bring yourself to wish them a peaceful eternal rest. Just keep it muted.
