Two sisters from Beverly Cleary's children's books. Beatrice, the older sister was initially the lead but Ramona eventually became more popular. They lived in Portland, Oregon and this map from the Multinomah Public Library (Portland area) pinpoints where they lived:

Not really fantasy oriented I realized, but thought I'd add anyway given the author's recent passing at age 104.
