Related to the comics that were announced but never published, this is for comics that were cut off mid-story by a cancellation.

Frankenstein Undone was a miniseries planned for the Hellboy universe and announced in 2020, but it was delayed because of the pandemic and then shelved indefinitely after co-creator Scott Allie was accused of predatory behaviour. Two issues were published out of the intended five; covers for the remaining issues had been put out in solicits, as well as the cover for the planned TPB collecting the series.

Question: Since this was never completed, are its events in continuity? It seemed like this book was inspired by somebody at Marvel who read the appendix of the OHOTMU: Golden Age 2004 and said, "Somebody give a pitch to put as many of these obscurities in one story and kill off as many of them as possible."

Yes, still in continuity, even if we don't know the final outcome of events. And it's funny you should mention the OHOTMU Golden Age book, as one of the writers of that provided some help with info about characters for this series - it's no coincidence that one of the characters in the mini is a Sgt Byrd.
