Please include key details for people who haven't seen in spoiler tags. More questions than usual because I didn't want to give any of the main characters short shrift.

Going back a couple of pages because the latest issue of Retro Fan has an article on the Super 7. The situation with Web Woman and Marvel is a bit complicated. As a concept she preceded Spider-Woman. In fact she was originally going to be called Spider-Woman, which prompted Marvel to rush its own Spider-Woman into print. So Jessica Drew has Web Woman to thank for her very existence. There were certainly some legal snarls afterwards, but these were settled out of court. For anyone interested in the original Super 7 characters, it's worth purchasing the issue for that article alone.

Sounds interesting. It's just a shame imo that similar legal issues seem to be responsible for keeping several of the superheroes introduced in the Super 7 from being repeated or released on home media.

It was written by Andy Mangels so it's well researched as you'd expect. The article does also tackle the DC lawsuits (in greater depth than with Marvel because there are actual trial documents). He doesn't think that any of the subsequent owners of the Filmation material have even looked into whether the Super 7 material that has had legal issues could be released. It's possible that it could be because some material aired outside of the US in the years immediately following its US injunction.
