Sounds great on the surface. I dropped Spider-Man at One More Day, but I'm happy to be kept up to speed on the new status quo from a distance, as well as enjoying entries for characters not previously covered. One question though: what's the ratio of handbook pages to pin-ups (and other material if applicable). Pin-ups aren't really my thing, but if the bulk of the book is Handbook material, I can live with them.

Will characters like Menace, Mr. Sensitive, etc., be included in future hardcover volumes under their respective first letters, or should we expect to find them in the final volume along with characters who received entries elsewhere too late for inclusion with their respective first letters (like Ajak and Bethany Cabe)?

As with the Iron Manual before it, you can expect profiles to start showing up in their alphabetical spot, of course depending on where we are in the alphabet at that point. The ones that were already missed in earlier releases will be part of the final book.

With the various new entries thus far, with more to come as I understand it, is the goal still 12 volumes or will there be a 13th to allow a bit more breathing space?

We're confirmed as a 12 volume series. Even with the new entries from these additional books, there wouldn't be enough to make up a 13th volume.

I think most of us are just hoping some of the older entries that deserve to be well-expanded don't get shorted because of the influx of new stuff. Perhaps not such a worry if some of these books were anticipated and there was breathing space allowed to begin with.

We did anticipate some new books along the way, and did allow for that when we planned things out.
