History: Grant Gardner was a soldier who became a hero during World War II when he was given the mantle of Captain America. Gardner fought bravely against the forces of the Axis powers, both at home and abroad, until he was presumed dead in action.
Years later, Gardner was found frozen in ice, much like the original Captain America, Steve Rogers. Unlike Rogers, however, Gardner did not receive the super-soldier serum that gave Rogers his enhanced strength and agility. Nevertheless, Gardner took up the mantle of Captain America once more, using his skill and training to continue the legacy of the hero he had become.
Powers and Abilities: Grant Gardner is an exceptional athlete and hand-to-hand combatant, with training in various forms of martial arts and military tactics. He is also a skilled marksman and has expertise in the use of various weapons, including firearms and his iconic shield, which he can throw with incredible accuracy.
