He was a member of a criminal organization that was planning to steal a deadly chemical compound that could accelerate the aging process in human beings. The group had already stolen a large quantity of the compound and was in the process of stealing the rest when they were interrupted by Captain America.

During the ensuing battle, Miguel managed to escape and fled to the organization's hideout. Captain America, along with his ally Dr. Simon Mills, tracked down Miguel and the other members of the group to their hideout. In the final confrontation, Miguel engaged Captain America in combat but was ultimately defeated and taken into custody by the authorities.
