Origin: After being wrongly accused of murder and losing his job as a police officer, Thomas "Kip" Burland became the Black Hood, a vigilante determined to clear his name and fight crime in the city of Brickdale. Donning a black hood and costume, Burland used his fighting skills and detective abilities to take down criminals and prove his innocence.
