She can produce bolts of lightning, create electrical shields and barriers, and even fly by riding on currents of electricity. She is also a skilled engineer and mechanic, with extensive knowledge of electronics and robotics.

History: Carla Rodriguez was a gifted engineer who worked for a prominent tech company. During a routine experiment with a new power source, Carla was exposed to a massive surge of electricity, which should have killed her. Instead, the energy transformed her, giving her the ability to generate and manipulate electricity.

Carla took on the superhero identity of Volta, and quickly became a member of the Champions, a team of young superheroes. She also joined the Avengers, and has fought alongside some of the world's most powerful heroes.

In addition to her superhuman abilities, Volta is also a skilled engineer and mechanic, using her knowledge of electronics and robotics to create specialized equipment and gadgets to aid her in battle.
