Despite her dangerous profession, Mia has a soft spot for children and has a young son named Ryan. Mia struggles to balance her work as an assassin with her responsibilities as a mother, often putting herself in danger to protect her son.

During one of her contracts, Mia discovers that she has a half-brother named John, who she never knew existed. John is transgender, and Mia initially struggles to accept him, but eventually comes to support him in his transition.
