Web Woman

WEBWOMAN

Aliases: None

Identity: Secret

Occupation: Adventurer

Base of Operations: New York City

First Appearance: Marvel Comics Presents #68 (1991)

History: Webwoman is a superheroine with the ability to shoot webs from her hands, similar to Spider-Man. She was created by an alien race known as the Mala'kak, who sought to create a protector for their world. However, Webwoman was sent to Earth instead and found herself fighting crime in New York City.

Webwoman has been both a solo adventurer and a member of various superhero teams, including the Avengers and the Fantastic Four. She has fought against many villains, including Doctor Octopus and the Kingpin.

Powers/Abilities: Webwoman possesses superhuman strength, agility, and reflexes. She is able to shoot webs from her hands, which she can use to swing from buildings or ensnare opponents. She also has a precognitive ability that warns her of danger before it happens.

Equipment: None.

Weaknesses: Webwoman's web-shooting ability is limited by the supply of web fluid her body can produce, and prolonged use can lead to exhaustion. She is vulnerable to attacks that can break through her webbing and to energy-based attacks.

Threat Level: Gamma

Notes: Webwoman was created by writer Glenn Herdling and artist Alex Saviuk for the Marvel Comics Presents series. She is one of the few characters in the Marvel Universe to have the ability to shoot webs other than Spider-Man. Despite her relatively short history, she has made appearances in various Marvel comics and has garnered a small but dedicated fanbase.

Re: Web Woman

Trying again since I erroneously called her Webwoman instead of Web Woman; also clarified the series:

WEB WOMAN

Aliases: None

Identity: Secret

Occupation: Adventurer

Base of Operations: Unknown

First Appearance: Tarzan and the Super 7 (1978)

History: Web Woman is a superheroine who fights alongside Tarzan in the animated television series Tarzan and the Super 7. She was once a scientist named Dr. Linda Lawrence, who was working on a serum to increase human strength and agility. However, an accident with her experimental formula transformed her into Web Woman.

Web Woman has used her newfound powers to battle a variety of villains, often in the company of Tarzan and his allies. She has also been known to work alone on occasion.

Powers/Abilities: Web Woman possesses superhuman strength, agility, and reflexes. She is able to shoot webs from her hands, which she can use to swing from buildings or ensnare opponents.

Equipment: None.

Weaknesses: Web Woman's web-shooting ability is limited by the supply of web fluid her body can produce, and prolonged use can lead to exhaustion. She is vulnerable to attacks that can break through her webbing and to energy-based attacks.

Threat Level: Beta

Notes: Web Woman was created for the animated series Tarzan and the Super 7, which aired from 1978 to 1980. The series featured a rotating cast of superhero characters who would team up with Tarzan to fight crime and save the day. Web Woman was one of the more popular characters on the show and has remained a cult favorite among fans of the series.

Re: Web Woman

Web Woman was Kelly Webster. None of the rotating featured characters met each other, though Superstretch and Microwoman shared a feature. She did not have Spider-Man-style web shooter.
