History: Beverly Sutphin was a seemingly normal homemaker living in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland with her husband Eugene and their two children, Misty and Chip. However, unknown to her family and neighbors, Beverly was actually a prolific serial killer who murdered those she felt were a threat to her family or to society.
Beverly's killing spree began when she ran over her daughter's ex-boyfriend with her car after he refused to take her daughter back. From then on, Beverly became more emboldened and began targeting other people she felt were in the way of her family's happiness, including a woman who criticized her son's hygiene and a man who cut in line at a video store.
Beverly's crimes eventually caught the attention of the police, who began investigating her. However, Beverly was able to manipulate the situation and convince the authorities that she was innocent. It wasn't until she killed a woman in front of a live television audience that she was finally caught and arrested.
Beverly was put on trial for her crimes, but was ultimately found not guilty by reason of insanity. She was sent to a mental institution, where she later died of a heart attack.
