History: Selina Kyle was a young orphan who turned to a life of crime to survive on the streets of Gotham City. She became known as the Catwoman, using her agility and cunning to steal valuable treasures from the rich and powerful.

Catwoman crossed paths with Batman on numerous occasions, sometimes as an adversary and sometimes as an ally. Their complicated relationship was defined by their mutual attraction and their opposing views on crime and justice.

In the years that followed, Catwoman continued to operate as a thief and occasional vigilante, often teaming up with other heroes such as the Justice Society of America and the Birds of Prey.

During the Crisis on Infinite Earths, the multiverse was condensed into a single universe, and Catwoman's history was merged with that of her Earth-1 counterpart. However, her adventures on Earth-2 remain a significant part of her character's legacy.

Personality: Catwoman is a complex and multifaceted character, motivated by both a desire for material wealth and a sense of justice. She is fiercely independent and does not shy away from taking risks or breaking the law to achieve her goals. Despite her criminal tendencies, she has a strong sense of honor and will not harm innocent people or kill in cold blood.

Weaknesses: Catwoman's love for Batman often puts her in vulnerable positions, as she is willing to take risks to earn his trust or impress him. She is also vulnerable to physical harm, particularly when facing opponents with superior strength or weapons.

Summary: Catwoman, the Feline Felon, has been a prominent character in the Batman mythos for over 80 years. Her complex motivations and relationships with other characters have made her a fan favorite and a vital part of the DC Universe. While her criminal activities often put her at odds with Batman and other heroes, her commitment to justice and her willingness to put herself on the line to help others have made her a hero in her own right.

Re: Catwoman (Earth-2)

Earth-2 Catwoman never teamed with the JSA as a whole or Birds of Prey. She married Batman and had a daughter, the Huntress. Unlike the Post-Crisis version, surviving on the streets wasn't really a motive for the Earth-2 version.

I accidentally did this one twice. Similar problems in the second version:

First Appearance: Detective Comics #211 (September 1954)

Height: 5'7"

In this alternate universe, she is a professional thief and cat burglar with a penchant for cat-themed crimes. Originally depicted as a villain, Catwoman used her acrobatic skills and feline cunning to commit daring heists throughout Gotham City.

In her early appearances, Catwoman's motivations were primarily driven by financial gain and a love for the thrill of the chase. However, as the character developed, she showcased more nuanced aspects of her personality and moral ambiguity.

On Earth-2, Catwoman's relationship with Batman was initially adversarial, with their alter-egos often clashing in crime-fighting pursuits. Nevertheless, over time, a unique bond developed between the two, blurring the lines between allies and adversaries.

Catwoman also had significant interactions with other Earth-2 heroes and villains, occasionally working alongside characters such as the Justice Society of America or crossing paths with the sinister villain, The Joker.

Personality: Catwoman is a complex and multifaceted character. As a thief, she is cunning, agile, and driven by a desire for wealth and excitement. Her complicated relationship with Batman brings out both her heroic and mischievous sides.

Equipment: Catwoman is known for her skillful use of a cat-o-nine-tails whip, which she wields with deadly precision. Her gloves are equipped with sharp claws that serve both offensive and defensive purposes. Additionally, she utilizes various cat-themed gadgets, such as smoke pellets, night vision goggles, and retractable claws for scaling walls.

Weaknesses: Catwoman's physical abilities, while formidable, are still human, making her vulnerable to injury or exhaustion. Her criminal activities also attract unwanted attention from law enforcement and superheroes alike, leading her into dangerous situations. Her complex relationship with Batman can sometimes put her at odds with her own moral compass, leading to conflicting decisions.

Summary: Catwoman of Earth-2 is a captivating and multifaceted character. Her skillful acrobatics, cunning intellect, and morally ambiguous nature make her an enduring and iconic figure in the DC Comics multiverse. As a thief with a heart of gold, she walks the fine line between hero and antihero, captivating readers with her complex motivations and ever-evolving relationship with Batman. With her feline charm and unwavering independence, Catwoman remains one of the most beloved characters in the DC Universe, proving that even those who operate in the shadows can possess a glimmer of heroism within.
