He also had a brother  who sometimes subbed off as the Angel. His methods could be lethal and he eventually co-founded/financed the Scourge of the Underworld organization.

I don't think he appeared in Invaders and certainly wasn't a member, though it wouldn't surprise me if he appeared in a panel or two as part of some flashback.
