    Calling Pam his "ex-fiancee" I suppose is technically true, but "wife" is somewhat less misleading. I think he was still a teacher when last seen or at least The Greatest American Heroine didn't explicitly say he quit. He was only called The Greatest American Hero in the real world, not in universe.
