Yelena Belova was taken from her family at a young age and trained in the Red Room, the same Soviet program that created Natasha Romanoff. Unlike her "sister" Natasha, Yelena was not as inclined to defect or question her orders, becoming one of the most skilled and ruthless agents produced by the Red Room.After the fall of the Red Room, Yelena struggled to find her place in the world. She reconnected with Natasha, and together they dismantled the Red Room once and for all. However, the loss of her sister during the mission to obtain the Soul Stone left Yelena grieving and seeking a new purpose.Yelena later crossed paths with Clint Barton (Hawkeye), whom she initially blamed for Natasha’s death. Through their encounters, Yelena began to understand the complexity of Natasha’s choices and ultimately chose to continue her sister’s legacy as a hero.
