History:
Christopher Smith, known as Peacemaker, was raised by his father, Auggie Smith, a white supremacist and former weapons expert who instilled in Chris a warped sense of justice. Growing up, Chris developed an extreme, uncompromising view that peace must be maintained at any cost, no matter how many lives he has to take to achieve it. This mantra became his driving force, leading him to adopt the persona of Peacemaker.As Peacemaker, Chris became a skilled combatant, marksman, and tactician, working for various covert government operations. His methods are brutal, and his moral code is skewed, often leading to collateral damage in his pursuit of peace.Peacemaker was recruited by Amanda Waller to join Task Force X, better known as the Suicide Squad, to take on a high-risk mission in Corto Maltese. He was selected for his ruthless efficiency and loyalty to the mission, no matter the moral implications. During the mission, Peacemaker's willingness to kill even his own teammates to protect classified information revealed his true nature. He survived the mission but was severely injured.Following his recovery, Peacemaker was assigned a new mission by ARGUS, where he was forced to confront the consequences of his actions and his strained relationship with his father.
