    RIP actress Joy Harmon (Cool Hand Luke, Village of the Giants).  Her acting career lasted only through the 1960s to the early 1970s, but it started with appearances on two of Groucho Marx's game shows; her best-known appearance was in the film Cool Hand Luke as the car-washing "Lucille."

    The comic-book industry has lost another luminary.  RIP journalist and writer Len Strazewski, 71, who wrote for several companies including DC and Malibu.  He wrote Starman (the Will Payton version) and Justice Society of America (in which he created Jesse Quick) among others for DC and co-created both Prime and Prototype for Malibu's Ultraverse imprint.
