Glad to know Stryfe, Strong Guy, SUblime, Turbo, Timeslip and Talkback are in it. I hope Alistaire and/or Alysande Stuart are covered as well, but I doubt it since it seems entries of baseline human supporting characters often have less priority than super-powered beings (correct me if I'm wrong).
I also hope for the Technet!

Glad to know Guido is on that one. Who's Sundown? Some kind of sun block? Can we already know if there will be a 2007 series or do we have do wait until October?

Sundown, if memory serves, was a Spiderman villain that appeared in a couple of annuals some years back, one in Untold Tales, set around the early days, and another in the modern day after the character got out of prison. He wasn't as much a villain as someone who got a bad break, paid for his crimes, and redeemed himself.

Basically he was a neat crossover idea that Kurt Busiek and Roger Stern wrote. He was introduced by Busiek in an Untold Tales of Spider-Man Annual (if you didn’t already know, UToSM was a flashback series that filled in gaps in the Lee/Ditko years of Amazing Spider-Man) and his story picks up again after he’s let out of prison in Stern’s Amazing Spider-Man Annual (which was, of course, set in the present) from the same year. Tom Lyle penciled both comics.

Right, despite the fact that the guy managed to make enemies of just about every 60s Marvel hero, he wasn’t a bad guy at all.

Why Talkback? The Runaways havn't used their "codenames" since the end of the first volume. That's like two years and 20 issues ago! I hated how Molly was down as "Bruiser" too...the codenames were more of a joke than anything...

I can't recognize both of the Skrulls on the cover. :blush: One of them is obviously Super-Skrull.

Others I believe are Strong Guy, Tiboro, Thor (Dargo), Tinkerer, Swarm, Stranger, Swordsman, Thanos, Thanatos, Two-Gun Kid, Taskmaster, Toad and Titania.

I also see Turbo (Mickey Musashi) - I wonder if the other Turbo (Michael Jeffries) is in it as well. And I hope it is the current Swordsman (Andreas) who is covered in this Handbook. By the way, who is the guy with the green helmet (standing at Strong Guy's right)?

Editorial decision. After Karolina and Nico were included in the Women of Marvel handbook (when they still used the names), it was decided to keep the tags for the rest, partly because Marvel wasn't sure if the codenames would be permanently dropped or not. Should there be another Handbook series and should the Runaways make it into it, rest assured they'll be under their regular names.
