At the end of Namor, The first Mutant #1, there is a Saga section. Don't know if that counts because it's not a whole entire comic.
Also there's the 12 issue Saga of the Sub-Mariner series.

I decided not to include that and Saga of the Human Torch because they aren't really in the saga format; they read like regular comics. Same with the Saga of the High Evolutionary and of the Serpent Crown. But if people think they belong I will add them.

Good list. Marvel Saga should be official History, not Official Handbook. Agreed with only listing those Sagas that are in the format of selected panels being reprinted with new captions, as opposed to the likes of Saga of the Human Torch, which are as you say simply a regular comic spanning a long period of time.

Re: Sagas

I keep meaning to mention a quasi-Sagas book that came out this year:

Previously in Marvel Comics Recap Guide #1 September 2020.
Kind of like the recap pages that you see at the start of some comics. While such recaps are probably normally beyond the scope of this thread, since the entire issue is recaps, it kind of reads like a Sagas book, albeit one that jumps from topic to topic.

Yeah I had considered adding that. I think you're right—the fact that it's an entire book probably makes it worth including.

Re: Sagas

Just a suggestion, but back in the Capes (Optional) days you had a small separate section below the main list for "not quite Saga books" such as the Marvel No-Prize Book. If you are up for restoring that section, it might be nice to see, as there probably isn't anywhere else we can capture that kind of info.

Although it recaps the history of the Black Panthers—similar to what a Saga might do—it's an actual comic story and thus not in Saga format.

Perhaps I'll create a new category—"not quite Sagas"—although that could get bloated rather easily.
