Re: TV Series Trivia

I managed to recreate the other questions from memory (I won't worry about keeping them in the same order). The answers are correct but for 15 I was thinking of a different character so will rework that one. Luckily I use the The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network and Cable Shows to help me come up with questions (though I don't ask questions that I would not have any chance of answering), plus the questions were still pretty fresh in my mind.

1. Dell Frye was a villain on which series?
2. Kari Matchett was on this series about people apparently being replaced by aliens, though the series was cancelled before everything could be revealed
3. This espionage series involved tennis.
4. The Keeper and the Official were characters on which series?
6. Who was a member of the Allies for Peace in the Marvel Superheroes cartoon series?
7. What was a series fitting this theme with both Hulk and Spider-Friends cartoons?
10. What Marvel Action Hour cartoon fits this theme?
11. Super Globetrotters reworked characters from what cartoon?
13. Liv Moore was the main character in which series?
14. This PI was minuscule sized
15. This was a red garbed Japanese superhero who had a solo series, and in the first episode the characters sang about how you should not marry a mountain man.

Re: TV Series Trivia

1 Incredible Hulk - he was "the First," a prior Hulk
2 Invasion
6 Iceman. X-Men by any other name...
11. Harlem Globe Trotters - which doesn't start with I, so I am presumably missing something.
13 IZombie
14 Inch High, Private Eye

Re: TV Series Trivia

Most of those are correct. For 13, the Harlem Globetrotters cartoon is not the only cartoon that reworked into the Super Globetrotters. The other cartoon has nothing to do with either the real or fictional Globetrotters.

13 The Impossibles? Some of the HG matched their powers.

Correct: Impossibles' Fluid Man = Super Globetrotters' Liquid Man, Coil Man = Spaghetti Man (same direction), and, hammering the point further, Multi-Man = Multi-Man. The parallels are too strong to just be a coincidence, since those powers are a lot more distinct than super strength, flight, or really good combatant.

Re: TV Series Trivia

Those are correct. I got the DVD of Iron King a while back and watched the first episode and that song is what stood out.

Today's questions are on J. I was able to come up with more questions than expected, because a lot of first names begin with J.

1. What song on Kid Super Power Hour with Shazam! was about someone who loved popcorn?
2. In which superhero cartoon series was a member of the team revealed to be an alien spy?
3. What short lived sitcom’s theme song was You Look at Me?
4. This series was about a teenage girl who literally got instructions from God (and who played her brother)?
5. Who played Klinger on MASH?
6. Who played Brainiac on Smallville?
7. Which sitcom’s theme song was Moving on Up?
8. Who played Debra Morgan on Dexter?
9. Who was Walter White’s partner on Breaking Bad?
10. Shaun Cassidy played this sleuth in a show based on a series of children’s books
11. This short lived sitcom featured Ann Jillian as a ghost
12. On Charlie’s Angels, who was the voice of Charlie?
13. On Tales from the Crypt, who was the voice of the Cryptkeeper?
14. Who played Mork’s son on Mork and Mindy?
15. This long running series involves a female judge taking actual cases
16. This cartoon series was about the nephew of a famous spy
17. Dominic Purcell played an amnesiac man in which series?
18. On Cheers, Cliff once appeared on which show that exists in the real world?
19. While not the first host, who hosted Almost Live! for most of its run, and what was his news report usually called?
20. Who played Gomer Pyle on the show of that name and the Andy Griffith Show?
21. Who was the lead actor on Three’s a Crowd and who did he play?
22. Who played the titular character on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman?

Re: TV Series Trivia

Those are all correct. Shaun Cassidy specifically played Joe on the The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries. I have my susipcion that James Bond Jr. was merely told that Bond Sr. was his uncle and that their connection is more direct.

2. King of Kensington, Kensington

Re: TV Series Trivia

The first part of 2 is correct. The second part (the district name) is partly correct but incomplete. Normally I'd say it's close enough, but since Kensington's in the show title I can't make this question quite that easy.

I highly recommend both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. It says something Breaking Bad that on YouTube, where you don't normally get deep discussion in the comments, comments on videos related to the show tend to really analyze Walter White.

Re: TV Series Trivia

I didn't know about the band, but Kensington Market is correct. In the district there's a park that's called both Bellevue Park and Denison Park. You can find a statue of Al Waxman there. Unfortunately there's a bench by the statue so you sometimes have to make more than one trip there to get a photo of the statue due to people sitting on the bench.
