Famous trio of waterfalls (also the name of the municipalities surrounding them, but this post is about the actual falls). The American and Bridal Veil falls are on the Niagara Falls, New York side, while the Horseshoe Falls touch both the former and the Niagara Falls Ontario side. Probably in part for the better view, scenes are typically shot from the Ontario side.
Going from my recollection which I discussed in the Doctor Who thread, and reiterated in the link below, Nikolai Tesla gives a presentation from the Ontario side before being visited by the 13th Doctor
In Superman Clark Kent and Lois Lane visit the Horseshoe Falls from the Ontario side when a kid falls in, causing Superman to do a rescue (actually, in the time that it took for Clark to notice what was happening and change to Superman, the kid should have landed in the Niagara River; it's far enough down for a great view but not so far down as to allow a long drop).
