Once I saw the roster of artists listed, that pushed me to pledge my support. It probably won't get funded, but that's a whole lot of names I haven't seen in a very long time, let alone their artwork. The Who's Who-like guide is just icing on the cake for me.

This campaign is offering a Handbook with the top tier, but the creator has said that when the program is funded, he'll have a stretch goal where all physical backers will get one. So Let's help him out.

If GI Joe is of interest, then this also might be:
In the UK for a few years after the GI Joe toy revamp happened in the USA the British versions of the toys had their own names and even their own comics continuity as Action Force in the British comic Battle. Later they were asked to bring the toy names into line with the US versions, so the comics had to find in-story reasons for both the heroes and villains rebranding themselves, and still later the comic license was snatched by Marvel UK, and the stories became mostly reprints of the US versions. This is why the Marvel UK comic was still titled Action Force rather than GI Joe - less American sounding and a pre-existing brand recognition.
Anyway, the above kickstarter is for a book covering the first part of that, the Battle era versions of the toys and comic characters.
