RIP Doug Sakmann. Indie filmmaker on both sides of the camera, mainly for Troma. Took over the role of Sgt. Kabukiman in 2015. Troma co-founder Lloyd Kaufmann has confirmed this on social media.
RIP actor Martin Mull. Numerous movie and TV appearances. My own favourite role of his was as Harvey Holroyd, a man trying to find his way in a changing world in Serial.

Singer turned anti-LGBTQ activist Anita Bryant has passed. She appeared in Roger & Me. As an ally to LGBTQ people I'll just say I acknowledge her passing.
