Re: General Comics Trivia

Cheetah?

10/31/2020 7:29 pm  #272

Re: General Comics Trivia

Correct, She was the main Earth-1 Cheetah. She was related to Priscilla Rich so I don't know if Rich travelled to Earth-1 from Earth-2 or if Rich had a counterpart, but for a while she was the main Cheetah. Too tired to come up with a new set of questions but will start the next round tomorrow morning Pacific time.

Re: General Comics Trivia

Everyone in this quiz has a colour in their name (separate word or prominent syllable). Colours can repeat.

1.This 1960s super-soldier has a three-word name.
2.This young suoerhero has a fairy tale name (and what is their team)?
3.This superhero was once falsely believed to be the offspring of a speedster.
4. This female superhero was an ally of Earth-1 Superboy.
5.This superhero was set to attend a JSA meeting but didn’t make it due to their costume tearing
6.This villain who has only been seen as part of a team is a Caucasian racist from a fictional African nation (his teammates are also racists)
7.Which avatar of death was created by Jack Kirby as writer/artist?
8.This rejected concept for a DC hero would have having a racist white man turning into a black superhuman.
9.This is a soldier created by Moebius
10.The other syllable in this Supergirl foe’s name is a mispelled astral body
11.This character with multiple codenames has had multiple breakdowns, often involving this specific code name
12.Who had their own title with Sandman as a supporting character?
13.Who leads (at least as on-field leader) a team of elemental heroes, all with one word names?
14.Who was temporarily killed by Sub-Mariner in a graphic novel?
15.Who is the Not Brand Echh versions of the Silver Surfer?
16.This is a Druidic villain who has fought Superman and others
17.This hero who originated on a radio show but who has had numerous comic titles is related to the Lone Ranger
18. This is a mufti-generational Archie superhero (going way back a la the Phantom)
19.This 1940s hero went on what proved to be a suicide mission upon learning he had a terminal disease.
20.This is one of the Sons of the Tiger

DC's Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys. Though I wouldn't be surprised if you meant someone else.

Or you might mean Fabletown's Brock Blueheart, and the F-Men.

White Avenger of Azania's Supermacists.

Re: General Comics Trivia

Those are correct. I was indeed referring to Little Boy Blue/Blue Boys. I tried to minimize other possible answers in the way I worded the question, as there are certainly other fairy tale themed characters with colours in their name.

Re: General Comics Trivia

Those are all correct. However, for 7, there's a much more common code name. Only one version of the character called herself Dreamer and history was rewritten again soon after.
