So, let's say Marvel, anticipating the hit that the Guardians of the Galaxy movie would be, decided to release a handbook devoted to the GotG, in recognition of the characters appearing in the film and what's most recently happened with the team in Marvel Comics. They decide to not limit it to one-page updates of previously covered characters nor to ignore the up-to-date-ish entries that have appeared in several $7.99 reprint volumes like Tales from Half-World or Star-Lord: The Hollow Crown. Heck, if there's room, they might even throw in a few new entries for us Handbook fans. So with all the above, who and what gets covered in the Guardians Handbook?

IMDB page says there are characters in the movie name Bereet, Carina, and Garthan Saal. in it. Do we include them in the Handbook?

I don't think any of them have done anything recently since they had entries in other handbooks.

Here's a few more for this Imaginary Handbook: Xandarians (new entry). Kyln (new entry? can't remember), Spartoi (Star-Lord's race, new entry).

The Kyln hasn't had an entry but a lot of information about it was stated in the entry for the Omega Core
