Nope, not a Pokemon thread. For as long as I can remember, possibly first initiated by George Perez's crowd scenes in Crisis on Infinite Earths, I've loved well-drawn group shots depicting large numbers of characters, and been obsessed with trying to identify everyone in the picture. So I thought it might be nice to have a thread where such images can be gathered and viewed, and where people can, if they so desire, do their best to identify everyone in the picture. Those who want can just admire the images, but anyone is welcome to try and name the characters within.

In no particular order, our first up is Where's Wall-E (in the UK he's Wally, not Waldo, hence this pun), by artist Richard Sargent, a collection of robots from across multiple fictional realities. A key identifying who is who can be found with an easy Google search, so if you want to play at identifying the characters please don't cheat.

By the same artist, Where's Wall-E? 2, this time featuring androids and cyborgs.

And the last by Richard Sargent, Where's K9?, featuring characters and creatures from Doctor Who.

An Alex Ross image showing alternate reality incarnations of Marvel characters - naming who they are isn't so hard, but can you also identify which incarnation they are?

Alex Ross again, this time depicting the Hanna Barbera superhero characters. And despite how awesome it is, the completist in me still can't get over him leaving out Captain Caveman and Hong Kong Phooey.

Very nice. I'd seen the last two before, but the horror one is new to me. All really great images!

And it turns out the artist of the two The Raid images has done a third version! Androids, robots, cyborgs and other artificial intelligences.

George Perez remains the master at these kind of images:

Yes, Alex Ross is very good at this kind of thing, and that's a cracking image.
Talking posters, this one has fewer characters, but it's still nice to see one covering individuals not from Marvel or DC. Comico characters.

It's not just Ross, but him painting over George Pérez. I would love to see the a photo of the original layouts/pencils.
